A group of our Year 5 children received their Mini Police certificates after completing a year of support to the local community. They have supported the police at the Remembrance Parade, visited Bedlington Police station, travelled to Durham to meet the police horses and learn about the vital role they play, carried out speed checks on the main road outside of school and carried out some door to door community work in the vicinity of school. They also learned about online safety and water safety from PCSO Susan McCallum who has supported the Mini Police all year and visited Safety works in Newcastle to understand how to travel and stay safe in our region.
